Air Transportation:

The nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DIA). It is located approximately 19 miles from Downtown Denver and the Auraria Campus.

Southwest Airlines offers Group Travel Rates (minimum of 10 travelers) for those who will be flying via Southwest. For more information visit:

Ground Transportation:

  1. BUS Service available from Denver Internation Airport (DIA). Our local bus service is the RTD (Regional Transportation District. More info online can be found at www.rtd-denver.com. The bus from DIA is the AF. It will get you from DIA to Downtown Denver (Market Street Station on Market and 16th), and also makes a stop across the street from Campus (Auraria Parkway and 9th Avenue). The cost each way is $8. There is Taxi service downtown if you are not staying at a downtown hotel. If you are staying in a downtown hotel there is a free bus shuttle along 16th street (Market Street Station).
